Jason West

Jason has been actively involved in youth and middle school lacrosse in Kentucky since 2012, serving as both a coach and school lacrosse coordinator. Since 2015, he has also contributed to the growth of club lacrosse through his involvement with local and regional programs.

As an experienced corporate business leader, Jason brings a strategic mindset and operational expertise to developing thoughtful, sustainable approaches to growing the game. As a father of four sons who have all played lacrosse, he offers a firsthand understanding of the opportunities and challenges within youth and travel lacrosse. Together, these experiences shape his commitment to building a more accessible, collaborative, and sustainable future for the sport across Kentucky.

Dylan Gatt

Dylan is originally from Ontario, Canada, where he developed a strong foundation in lacrosse within one of the sport’s most established communities. He continued his playing career at Bellarmine University, bringing his experience and perspective to the growing lacrosse scene in Kentucky.

Dylan is the founder of Louisville Monarch Box Lacrosse, where he focuses on introducing and developing the box game to enhance player skills and expand opportunities within the sport. His background and leadership reflect a commitment to growing the game through innovation, player development, and a deep passion for lacrosse.

Jeff Mahoney

Founder, Director of Operations & Board Treasurer/Secretary

Jeff is a Partner at Neikirk, Mahoney & Maier PLLC and is both a Certified Public Accountant and licensed attorney in Kentucky. He specializes in federal and state tax, estate planning, probate, trust administration, and business law.

Jeff earned his undergraduate degree in accounting and his MBA from Bellarmine University, as well as his law degree from the Louis D. Brandeis School of Law, completing the program while working full time. He also brings experience from his time in public accounting with KPMG, providing a strong foundation in both financial and legal disciplines.

The Kentucky Lacrosse Foundation is actively building a passionate and committed Board of Directors to help guide our growth and expand access to lacrosse across the state.

We are looking for individuals who care about youth sports, community impact, and creating more opportunities for student-athletes in Kentucky. Board members play an important role in shaping strategy, supporting programs, and helping us build a strong and sustainable future for the game.
